You keep talking about traveling solo, traveling with your girls, traveling with your bae, or traveling with your family but it's all just talk. You've been thinking about your dream destination for years but it's still just a dream. And I bet travel is just one of the many things you desire that your aren't doing.
If you aren't taking the trips you want to take it's not because you don't have the time or the tips. It's because your life is in the way.
I know this because I've been there. Stuck, frustrated, and resenting all the obstacles in my way but now I help women remove the obstacles in their life so they can get out their head and get on these flights.
I had over a decade of experience taking black people to black countries to travel, serve, and learn and a lifetime of experience traveling the world solo and with family and friends. Then, in the course of a year I got engaged, married, pregnant, diagnosed with cancer, and became a mother. Needless to say, life was indeed life'n. I felt like there was no more room for me or my travel dreams in my life.
So I hired a coach. For 1 year in the midst of workin', wife'n, and mom'n, I spent 1 hour a week with my coach to make room for my dreams in the midst of my life. Through coaching and practice I learned how to maximize the time I had, leverage the money I had, and simplify my travel planning which led to more solo travel, more baecations, and 4 months of slow traveling Zimbabwe with my family of 4.
Now I help black women confidently create their life and travel dreams through new beliefs, new habits, and a simple formula to find the money, make the time, simplify the plan, take action, and remove every obstacle in the way.
And I can help you do the same.
I went from a life of taking lit solo and group trips to a life where my responsibilities had me stuck and struggling to plan any trip...
I started hosting group travel experiences back in 2011 at the very beginning of the black travel movement. This led to visiting 22 countries across 5 continents and founding “It’s Deeper Than Travel (IDTT)”, a company that has disrupted the narrative on international service trips by inserting black travelers into black destinations to travel, serve, and learn.
I believe my life’s purpose is helping my people use travel as a vehicle to connect more deeply with themselves and in 2018 I was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by the African and Caribbean Business Council of Philadelphia. I have served on the Mayor’s Commission on African and Caribbean Immigrant Affairs and was nominated for the International Community Service Award given by the Young Caribbean Professional Network of Philadelphia.
In 2020 I became a life and travel coach. Now I helping black women remove the obstacles in their life and confidently take any trip they want.
Known for my warmth, high energy, and magnetic personality, I have graced many stages, captivated audiences, and left them feeling empowered to take action. Topics I love to cover are transformation through travel, the traveler’s mindset, championing black travel, self awareness, mastering problem solving, and the power of coaching.
I am looking to partner with other travel professionals, travel agencies, group travel facilitators, and travel lovers. Want to know how I can provide value for your audience, clients, or conference?
WHY MY CLIENTS LOVE WORKING WITH ME
"Before working with Inez, I was procrastinating with planning my travel. I had a lot of wishes that I was hesitant to act upon due to fear of traveling alone. The sessions were very informative; so much so my mindset has shifted from maybe to has to be; from I don’t think I can/should to setting things in place to make sure my travel happens."
"I am different because I feel more confident in my traveling decisions and locations. I feel more prepared after my coaching. I have let go of the limiting belief that a life of travel is beyond me. It just always seemed unattainable and for those whose pockets are deeper than mine. What am I doing differently? Planning better and worrying less."
"I had a wonderful time, meeting new people, enjoying authentic African cuisine and learning the history of Ghana. The trip went well despite the delays that were beyond anyone's control. The experience that I had was shared through social media and has inspired many of my friends to explore Ghana and the continent of Africa as a whole."
